Purpose of the role:
To conduct administrative tasks such as customer delivery calls, checking orders, and crew & courier bookings. Responsible for delivery & collection documentation, paperwork and other administrative duties.Requirements:
GCSE in Maths and English – at grade C/4 and above.
Training to be provided:
Events Assistant- Level 3 Standard
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
To develop and take ownership of the relevant areas of our vision and work plans, and to be totally committed to these.
Check & confirm details with clients before arrival and coordinate transport calls with clients, ensuring smooth delivery and collection of goods including arranging parking permits and access arrangements where necessary
Conduct planner, warehouse, paperwork, and van checks with relevant internal department contacts
Responsible for crew, courier & hotel bookings including administration of purchase orders & invoice queries
Print collection and delivery paperwork for drivers for all jobs
Provide support to Transport Planners in efficiently planning all transport delivery & collections including 3rd party jobs, utilising transport planning spreadsheet and internal contacts considering geographic constraints, prop sizes and resource requirements
Develop strong relationships with external suppliers, including crew companies, 3rd party haulage firms and accommodation suppliers.
Support Team Leader with any other administrative support tasks as required
Any other reasonable tasks as required
Skills/attributes required
Knowledge and Experience:
An interest in the events industry
GCSE at Grade C or equivalent in Maths & English
Experience in events planning an advantage
Driving Licence an advantage
Basic UK geography knowledge an advantage

Hours of work
9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday
Training to be Provided
Events Assistant- Level 3 Standard
Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from the industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, money, and substantial opportunities for promotion.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training.
