If you are looking for a role with variety, working in a great team…. We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join us.
The ideal candidate will be meticulous, and possess strong process based skills. The role demands a need to quickly and effectively respond to multiple requests, whilst maintaining the work standards and controls in place. You will be responsible, have a good team ethic, be numeric, able to plan and prioritise your workload, and be well organised with a strong attention to detail.
Previous experience working in a purchase ledger and/or payroll function would be desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate transactional and supplier data on Sage Line 50.
• Manage the Purchase Ledger including entering invoices, balancing statements and entering payments
To support the Accounts Department Manager, during busy seasonal activity and covering for holiday and sickness:
• Maintain the Sales Ledger including raising invoices daily and entering receipts
• Liaising with relevant internal and external clients to ensure the timely and accurate execution of duties and best outcome for the customer.
• Manage all elements of the credit control function, including payment processing and client engagement.
• Maintain the debtor controls adopted by EPH including imposing credit limits and ensuring clients adhere to the T&Cs regarding payment.
To prepare and administer the weekly payroll.

System Skills – desirable
Sage 50 Accounting
Sage Payroll
Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Hours of work
25-30 hours per week over five days, negotiable
