October 2014 saw over 1,000 online gamers from around the globe descend on Tobacco Dock, London, for RuneFest 2014, Jagex Games Studios 4th annual event for fans of one of the world’s largest free to play games in the world, RuneScape. Alongside Multiplay, creators of the UKs biggest gaming festival, Event Prop Hire were tasked to transform the venue into the ‘Immersive medieval fantasy world of Gielinor’ and more specifically, ‘Elf City’, for both attending visitors and over 10,000 live stream viewers to experience. Through collaboration with Jagex and Multiplay, Event Prop hire were able to draw on raw artwork and concepts from the game, successfully theming all areas of the event. Throughout the event space there was not a room untouched, with our stock items in abundance alongside bespoke builds and graphics, with the result that RuneScape was really brought life at RuneFest 2014.
