Established for over 19 years, EPH Creative is one of the UK’s leading event & theming suppliers. We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Visitor Attractions, Corporate Clients, Weddings and Private Parties. We have a reputation for exceptional quality and care in the services and products we provide to our clients. From our HQ in Thorp Arch Wetherby, we supply props and theming to over 2,000 events & bespoke projects each year, manufactured in our state of the art Production Facility, and delivered Nationwide by our own logistics fleet.
Our Warehouse is an Aladdin’s cave of props, furniture and theming, totalling over 145,000 sq ft. With over 9,000 different unique products, most built by our in-house teams- our warehouse environment is unique. Within the warehouse are different specialist sub-sections – including Foliage, Soft Furnishings, Electrical, Print and General Props.
We are looking for a Product Operations Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager & despatch teams with quality & repair standards, ensuring a high level of availability and quality of our prop stock.
Responsibilities
• To develop and take ownership of the relevant areas of our vision and work plans, and to be totally committed to these.
• Develop & implement product quality & safety standards to drive improvements, reduce client complaints and set expectations to despatch team
• Develop & implement missing & damage process including off-hire inspections, arranging repair/replacement quotes and liaising with sales & commercial teams for recovery of costs
• Identify & address damage trends and solutions for future damage prevention
• Collaborate with commercial teams to assess & determine whether props should be repaired, replaced, or disposed of.
• Coordination of quarantine process including producing reports, agreeing priority works & actions with production & build teams, & monitoring progress.
• Manage incoming stock items including collaborating with goods in & production team to coordinate reworks or product amendments, working with commercial team to ensure immediate usage of stock items, and marketing team to make items available for website promotions
• Proactively investigate product storage, packaging & warehouse location solutions, offering guidance on best practice for storage and transportation of stock items to reduce accidental damage and improve product availability
• Working alongside the product owner / build manager, gather & document new product information and product information gaps including weights & dimensions, assembly instructions & facilitate product photoshoots
• First point of contact for stock availability issues, working closely with sales and despatch teams to advise on status of back to backs, product unavailability and expected repair timelines
• Monitor consumable sale item stock levels, liaising with purchaser to fulfil minimum stock quantities
• Any other reasonable tasks as required
Additional growth responsibilities will be assigned with role development
Skills/attributes required
• Experience in stock inventory management.
• Experience in quality control and quality improvements.
• Experience in leading and developing teams
• Familiarity with quality control standards and best practices.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations related to stock & warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.

Hours of work
8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
