Logistics and Installations Manager

Job Description

The Purpose of the Logistics & Installations team is to deliver high quality service to all clients, ensuring each job has the correct detail from resource Management through to the H&S. The team run the day-to-day Logistical operation ensuring every job is successful.
Through careful and legal planning, we ensure each every job is as cost effective as possible, alongside this we ensure the safety of our team and the public are at the forefront.

We also work closely with external companies to help us deliver, collect and install our work. We must make sure all these companies work to the standards we need whilst building relationships with all external companies.

As Logistics & Installations Manager your focus will be to ensure all off site work is managed effectively and efficiently. You will deliver the highest service level keeping a close eye on the budget. You will manage all of the day to day Operations, ensuring the correct team members have been allocated to the correct jobs. You will mentor, motivate and develop your team and ensure systems and communications are continuously developed. Running alongside all of this you must ensure H&S is Managed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Logistics & Installations Services
• Line Management of the Logistics, Installations and Office- based roles
• Ensuring a consistent and high level of Customer Service
• Ensuring the department is run efficiently and overseeing costs and budgets
• Improving and developing systems, liasing with key departments to achieve this
• Responsible for overseeing all off-site Health and Safety, including overseeing compliance

Hours of work

Regular hours Monday-Friday 9-5.30, but flexibility is required for off-site work, weekends and on-call.
