Established for over 19 years, EPH Creative is one of the UK’s leading event & theming suppliers. We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Visitor Attractions, Corporate Clients, Weddings and Private Parties. We have a reputation for exceptional quality and care in the services and products we provide to our clients. From our HQ in Thorp Arch Wetherby, we supply props and theming to over 2,000 events & bespoke projects each year, manufactured in our state of the art Production Facility, and delivered Nationwide by our own logistics fleet.
Our Warehouse is an Aladdin’s cave of props, furniture and theming, totalling over 145,000 sq ft. With over 9,000 different unique products, most built by our in-house teams- our warehouse environment is unique. Within the warehouse are different specialist sub-sections – including Foliage, Soft Furnishings, Electrical, Print and General Props.
We are looking for a Product Operations Administrator to support the Product Operations Administrator & despatch teams with quality & repair standards, ensuring a high level of availability and quality of our prop stock.

Responsibilities

• Develop, Implement & Embed Missing & Damage Process:
i. Develop & implement a robust process for handling missing and damaged props.
ii. Coordinate with the unload supervisor for proper identification and logging of damaged items.
iii. Work closely with the build team to obtain quotes for necessary repairs and with the production team for timely repairs.
iv. Collaborate with the sales/accounts team to ensure accurate billing and recovery of costs for damaged items.
v. Ensure proper documentation and communication of costs related to repairs and replacements.

• Stock & Availability Management:
i. Answer product-related queries, including information on weights, dimensions, proper storage, and usage guidelines.
ii. Maintain accurate records and communicate product information to relevant teams.
iii. Monitor and advise on stock availability, including managing back-to-back orders and tracking the progress of repairs.
iv. Ensure timely updates are provided to sales and despatch teams regarding product status.
v. Support the Product Operations Supervisor in maintaining high standards of product quality.
vi. Assist in the documentation and reporting of quality control issues.

• Reporting & SOPs:
i. Configure and report on data related to profit, loss, and write-offs, providing insights for management decisions.
ii. Utilise data to support continuous improvement initiatives within the product operations team.
iii. Write and maintain SOPs for the product operations team, ensuring clear and concise guidelines are available for all processes.

• Stock Administration:

i. Order stock consumables, such as carpet, bunting, and other materials.
ii. Manage the ordering of packaging materials, including bubble wrap and soft casings, to ensure adequate supply.
iii. Deputise for the Product Operations Supervisor in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making.
iv. Manage and organise the department inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper prioritisation

Skills/attributes required
