Established for over 19 years, EPH Creative is one of the UK’s leading event & theming suppliers. We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Visitor Attractions, Corporate Clients, Weddings and Private Parties. We supply props and theming to over 2,000 events & bespoke projects each year, including bespoke builds and fit-out projects.

Our headquarters near Wetherby house an Aladdin’s cave of props, furniture and theming, at over 145,000 sq ft. Our State of the Art Scenic Production facility is one of the largest in the UK.
We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join our Production Department and take control of the planning and scheduling of Production.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you would be a central senior figure in the department, planning, resourcing and tracking daily the time, progress and quality of all production work. This includes a varied range of production processes and departments, from joinery to sculpting, GRP, painting, upholstery and more.

We are looking for an experienced and confident supervisor who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You excel at communication and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all production tasks are inputted onto our work ticket system, complete with time estimates- liasing with our projects team to fill in any missing information
• Create resource schedules based on upcoming work, and work with the Production Manager to schedule this work efficiently.
• Liase closely with the Projects Department/Estimators to discuss capacity for upcoming work.
• Ensure that all timesheets for the production department team members are updated daily, and are accurate.
• Regularly communicating with production team members to update progress on tasks, discuss changes to expected estimates
• Track actual progress vs estimated, and escalate any issues to the Production Manager
• Playing a central role in developing better systems and more efficient processes in the department – this requires you to collaborate with other departments and make active suggestions to management for improvements.

Hours of work

Usual hours are 8am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

£28,000 - 32,000 p.a.
