Job Description
To complete prop build tasks, working from a design brief/specification ensuring best practice is used on every job to ensure quality standards are adhered to. Carry out all work using best practice, in a safe and professional manner.
Responsibilities
• Complete prop build tasks, working from a design brief/specification ensuring best practice is used to meet quality and time standards.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks to an agreed standard, method & time-frame.
• Work from technical drawings following build / paint / design instructions closely
• Ensure systems are promptly & accurately updated detailing progress, colours, materials used & time spent on job to date.
• Assess prop builds & repairs, and report any quality concerns to Department Supervisor
• Assist with maintaining stock levels by completing order forms & reporting any is-sues
• Liaise across multiple departments to ensure the prompt completion of any tasks
• Have a positive attitude to work, working closely as a team & contributing to departmental objectives.
• Keep to rigorous Health & Safety standards at all times & reporting any accidents, near misses or incidents.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn every time and that safety equipment is in safe & functional condition
• Take care of & maintain all issued tools & equipment, ensuring these are kept in excellent condition at all times
• Support the wider needs of the company by flexible working &/or taking on additional duties at peak times
Skills/attributes required
• Should be able to work alone to complete tasks without supervision
• Should also have skills to work in a team to achieve common goals
• On the job problem solving
• Free thinker able to work on complex unique tasks
• Work from drawings
• Fine precision skills
• Ability to work some overtime at peak times
Hours of work
Monday-Friday 8am – 4.30pm
