Established for over 19 years, EPH Creative is one of the UK’s leading event & theming suppliers. We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Visitor Attractions, Corporate Clients, Weddings and Private Parties. We supply props and theming to over 2,000 events & bespoke projects each year.

Our headquarters near Wetherby house an Aladdin’s cave of props, furniture and theming, over 145,000 sq ft. Our State of the Art Scenic Production facility is one of the largest in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our sales team.

The role involves building and nurturing strong client relationships with a set of ‘Key Accounts’ and maintaining regular contact to ensure we are always their first choice.

You will take ownership of agreed sales targets, working towards overall company targets, and deliver an exceptional customer journey -from initial enquiry to event delivery, ensuring a seamless and memorable service to ensure we become their preferred partner for all event theming.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build relationships with a list of ‘key accounts’, monitor production, maintain regular contact to encourage growth by ensuring we are their first choice for all theming.
• Take ownership of enquiries from key accounts, pool accounts and new clients, understanding requirements, identifying upsell opportunities whilst providing a high level of customer service.
• Through ownership and actions, focus and commit to achieving the overall agreed Sales Targets and team KPIs
• Process rental orders via CRM and RMS Systems, ensuring sales processes are followed accurately from initial enquiry through to post event while working to a minimal error rate
• Undertake post event follow up for all agreed clients, completing any resulting actions
• Work with other departments to provide additional services as requested by the client.
• Handle any client amendments, queries and problem solve any order challenges.
• Effectively manage client expectations, prioritise responses, and coordinate input from other departments to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Managing a large volume of enquiries as part of a fast paced team environment, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Take ownership to work effectively as part of a team, so it runs the smooth and efficiently
• Contact existing clients with annual events to ensure the business is retained by winning back the rebook.
• Proactively contact lapsed users to re-engage and promote our services with the aim of winning back any potential future business.
• Take initiative by proactively identifying new opportunities and take responsibility for initial contact with a view to generating new business.
• Keep all client information up to date in our systems, maintaining accurate records and facilitating seamless handovers.
• Be a mentor for newer members of the team and assist with training as required.
• Attend Trade and Hospitality Shows when required.

Skills/attributes required

• Previous experience in a sales/account management role, ideally within the event/hospitality sector
• History of dealing with a high volume of enquiries at any one time
• Previous experience of work within a targeted sales environment
• Confident in dealing with new and existing clients in person, via telephone and email.
• Ability to identify upsell opportunities
• Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage time effectively whilst handling a high volume of enquiries
• Ability to problem solve and provide a solution to benefit both client and business
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure within a fast paced environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Self motivated with a proactive ‘can do’ approach, will act on own initiative
• Confident in building rapport with both new and existing clients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to achieve high productivity by remaining focussed within a busy office environment
• Flexible and open to change
• Passionate for client success and company in equal measure
• Friendly and professional approach in order to develop strong colleague and client relationships
• Recognises high standards of customer care
• Highly customer focussed

Hours of work

Usual office hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You may be required occasionally to attend site visits or events outside of these hours. Please note: due to the collaborative nature of our environment and the role, this includes close liaison with multiple departments across varying streams. Therefore, working from home is not possible as a regular feature of this position.
