Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen our sales team, and support our new Head of Sales in driving the business and our sales priorities forward.

This is a newly created role, focussed on providing the team with day-to-day guidance, support and coaching to maximise sales opportunities.

Your role will involve undertaking regular employee one-to-ones and team meetings, ensuring everyone understands our targets, and promoting an environment which is positive, collaborative and team-focussed.

Monitoring accounts and understanding their potential, will ensure they are allocated to the appropriate Account Manager to optimise growth and customer satisfaction, and so there is a fair spread and variety of work across the team.

Tracking KPIs to measure and track team success, and maintaining our CRM system will also be a key area of responsibility.

To be successful in the role, you should have previous experience of engaging and managing people, coupled with a supportive approach and positive attitude to change. You’ll also need to have a high standard of organisation, time management and planning skills.

What’s really important is the ability to build trust and respect through your behaviours and by delivering results.

Coupled with great systems knowledge (including CRM), you should have an analytical mindset and a customer first approach with focus on client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

Team Management & Engagement:
• Providing guidance and support to achieve agreed sales targets, and overall individual and team performance
• Manage individual and team performance/welfare, ensuring that that they have effective support, and an environment which is positive, collaborative and team-focussed to maximise productivity and morale.
• Ensuring accounts are allocated to the appropriate Account Manager by understanding account potential, to optimise growth and customer satisfaction. Monitoring regularly to ensure there is a fair spread and variety of work across the team
• Conduct regular team meetings, communicating targets, strategies and performance expectations, and recognising successes and improvement areas to maintain focus on priorities.
• Understand team strengths, development areas, and preferences, and identifying training needs and providing ongoing mentoring and support to enhance skills and product knowledge.
• Undertake regular employee one to ones to recognise achievements, address issues and boost overall engagement.
Maximising and Driving Sales:
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercials teams to research and develop effective promotional campaigns and sales materials which responds to both seasonal priorities and potential opportunities.
• Prioritising rebook activities, organising appropriate resources and monitoring progress against agreed targets.
• Research and understand market and customer trends and competitor activities so we are better able to plan and respond to market opportunities.
• Maintaining an overview of relationships with important clients, understanding their needs and anticipating new opportunities.
KPIs:
• Ensure regular account analysis is undertaken, tracking KPIs to measure and drive team success.
• Maintain the CRM Database, developing customer profiles and drive forward opportunities.
• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and administration of CRM
